What is a Community Partnership?

Coldwell Banker Bain Associates (CBBA) established the Community Partnership Program as a way for the company and its agents to give back to non-profit organizations serving our communities and the arts. Since its conception, CBBA agents have donated over $1,000,000 to non-profit organizations in and around Seattle and the Puget Sound region.

Here is how the program works. Anytime someone affiliated with a Community Partnership non-profit organization, or a friend or relative of that person, buys or sells a house with moi - the Diva, Coldwell Banker Bain and I will donate 10 % of the commission back to the organization. It's that simple!

"826 Seattle is a nonprofit writing

and tutoring center dedicated to helping youth, ages six to 18, improve their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. Our services are structured around our belief that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success."

I first became aware of 826 when I helped two of their lovely staff members purchase homes. The work they do is phenomenal and the more I learned the more I knew I needed to be involved. I look forward to supporting 826 Seattle and all the great work they do. How can you not be excited about creative writing and a mustachathon!

Please go to their website and learn more about their fantastic workshops and innovative fundraising ideas.

Members enjoy deep ticket discounts, parties to introduce you to the dancers, engaging educational events, and a wide array of additional benefits."

Although I've always loved the ballet, I am a newcomer to Backstage Pass and a first time season ticket holder. I am excited by the arrival of Peter Boal as the new Artistic Director and am looking forward to a great season.

This is a fabulous organization. They open the door for younger folks in our community to have greater access to and become more involved in the arts. Plus - they throw some great parties! Check out all the things Backstage Pass and the Pacific Northwest Ballet have to offer at www.pnb.org.

Please keep these organizations in mind as you meet and talk to your friends and family. If you or someone you know is a member/supporter of either 826 Seattle or Backstage Pass/PNB - please let me know. Not only will I guarantee superior Diva service as a Realtor, I will be able to give back to the community by supporting one of these excellent organizations.
